Being checked by a lawyer. The final version comes before LBS opens.
LBS is a marketplace where small shops sell dresses and shoppers buy them. This page says what we keep about you, why, and who can see it.
What we keep
- Your account: your email, your name, and the time you joined.
- A shop (sellers only): the shop name, shop handle, area, short bio, colour and dress categories.
- Shop checks (sellers only): mobile number, your business licence number and photo, and your bank account number (IBAN). Your ID photo and selfie go to our ID-check company, Didit, not to LBS: we keep only whether the check passed.
- Dresses (sellers only): name, price, details, and up to 4 photos per dress.
- Orders: what was ordered, from which shop, the amounts (dress, delivery, service fee), the order steps (placed, accepted, on its way, delivered, cancelled) and the payment status.
- Chats: the messages between a buyer and a shop.
- Birth date and gender (optional): only if you choose to add them.
- Photos for orders and problems: delivery photos and photos sent with a problem report.
- Help chat: what you write to the LBS help bubble, and the replies.
- Signed-in phones: a list of the phones signed in to your account, with the internet address (IP) each one used, so you can sign one out.
- Crash reports: if the app crashes, a report is sent to our crash-report company, Sentry. It has no name, email or phone number in it.
- Reviews: the stars and words a buyer leaves for a shop after a delivered order.
- Payments: the amount, the time, and whether it was paid, failed or is waiting.
What we do not keep
- Your card details. You pay on the payment company's page. Your card number never goes through LBS and we never see it.
Why we keep it
- To make your account and sign you in.
- To show shops and dresses, take orders and let you chat about them.
- To take payment and show you every fee before you pay.
- To keep the marketplace safe and fix problems.
We do not sell your information.
Who can see it
- Everyone can see an approved shop's page, its dresses and photos, and its reviews.
- A shop sees the orders made to it, the buyer's name, and the chat with that buyer. The app does not ask a buyer for an address or phone number. Shops do give us a mobile number (see "What we keep"). If you write your address in the chat, the shop sees it, so only write it if you want the shop to have it.
- A buyer sees only their own orders, payments and chats.
- Other users cannot read your orders, payments or chats.
- The payment company handles your payment on its own page, under its own privacy rules.
- The LBS team can see the data when needed to run the app and help you.
Companies we use
These companies help us run LBS. Each one only gets what it needs for its job.
- Supabase: stores the data.
- Sentry: receives crash reports.
- Didit: checks a shop owner's ID.
- UPayments, our payment company: takes card payments.
- Expo, Apple and Google: carry phone alerts to your phone.
Dress photos
Dress photos are public. Anyone with the link can see them. Only the shop that owns a dress can add, replace or delete its photos. Photos can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 5 MB each.
Chats
Each buyer and shop have one chat, even after more than one order. Either side can clear the chat on their own phone. Clearing hides the old messages for you only. The other person still sees them.
Keeping and deleting
You can delete your account in the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. It is deleted after 14 days, so you can change your mind. Open orders and money on hold must finish first.
When an account is deleted:
- Removed: your profile, your shop, your dresses and their photos, your messages and your reviews.
- Kept, with no name on it: past paid orders and payments stay, so the other side keeps its records. Your name is taken off them.
- Deleted shop: if a shop had past orders, buyers see those orders as coming from "Deleted account".
- Reports: if you reported someone, or someone reported you, we keep a copy of the reported words so we can check them.
No app? Write to support@lbs-kw.com from the email you signed up with, and we will delete your account.
Deleting is permanent. We keep order records for 5 years, then we delete them.
Your choices
You can change your name, or your shop details, in the app. You can ask us to show, fix or delete what we keep about you.
Children
LBS is for people who are 21 or older.
