Terms of use

By using LBS you agree to these terms.

What LBS is

LBS is a marketplace. Shops sell dresses. Shoppers buy them. LBS connects the two and takes a small cut of each sale. The dress is sold by the shop, not by LBS.

Your account

• Use real information. Keep your sign-in safe.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• You must be 21 or older to use LBS.

Fees: always shown before you pay

• Shoppers see every amount before paying: the dress, delivery, and a service fee. The total is what you pay.
• Shops see what they will receive after LBS's cut.
• Current amounts: shoppers pay a 5% service fee, and delivery is KWD 2.000. A shop's cut depends on its rank: 30% for a new shop, going down to 15% as its sales grow. These can change. A change never touches an order that is already placed.
• Free first month: a new shop pays no cut for its first 30 days after LBS approves it. Orders placed in that month stay free of the cut.
• LBS may agree a special cut with a shop.

What shops must do

• Use real photos of the real dress.
• Describe the dress honestly: size, colour, material, price, and delivery time.
• Deliver what the shopper paid for, on time.
• Answer shoppers politely in the chat.
• Follow the refund and return policy.
• Only sell what you are allowed to sell.

What is not allowed

• Fake, stolen or copied items, or photos that are not yours.
• Items or content that break Kuwaiti law.
• Cheating, lying, threats, hate, or harassing anyone.
• Taking a shopper's payment outside LBS to avoid the fees.
• Trying to break into the app or other people's accounts.
• Fake reviews.

Reviews

Only a buyer with a delivered order can review the shop, once per order. Reviews must be honest and polite.

Report and block

You can report a shop, a dress, a review or a message, and block someone, from inside the app. We look at every report. You can unblock someone in Settings → Privacy.

Payments

Payments are handled by a payment company on its own page. LBS never sees your card number. Right now the app runs in test mode: no real money moves.

Our right to act

We can hide a dress, pause a shop, or close an account that breaks these terms. We will try to tell you why.

Responsibility

LBS is not the seller. The shop is responsible for its dresses, their size and quality, and their delivery. LBS is responsible for running the app, taking payment and returning your money as these pages say. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen. Nothing here takes away rights that Kuwaiti law gives you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date above.

Law

These terms follow the laws of Kuwait. A dispute that cannot be settled is decided by the courts of Kuwait.
